This is John J. Horan's 69.5 Maverick, with 49,000 original miles. His parents bought it brand new years ago.
This is Cliff Brussler's '71 Grabber, from Courtenay, B.C., Canada. Serial number 000052. Purchased 12 years ago for $400 Canadian. According to Cliff, originally the car was lime green with a 6, but currently sports a mild 351W a C-4 trans and 4:10 gears. Was painted Grabber Blue in a garage in Port Alberni in '93 and still looks fantastic. It runs 12:78 in the Quarter without nitrous, but has yet to make a full run on the gas, but he expects high 11's, which is not bad for a daily driver. It has proven to be extremely reliable and is very streetable.
The is Seth Rearick's '76. It's a 4-door, with an inline 6cyl, and only 35,000 original miles! Everything about this car is original and in mint condition, with the exception of the wheels.
This '70 is comes to us via Joe from CT. There's not much to it now, but he has big plans for this beast. Hope to see the "after" pics! :-)

detroit locker. They've won a couple of awards with

This is George Dukic's 70' Maverick, from Versailles, PA. It was his first car and was redone three times over 14 years. It originally was a 200 6 banger with 4 bolt drums, slip rear. This is the car presently. Most of the body is stock with a grabber rear spoiler and chrome delete. The interior is all factory black except the front seats. The rear seat was sacraficed for a 4 point cage. The wheels are Penton 15" drag lites. It has a 69' Torino GT 302, .030 over , 11:1, Lunati cam, main&head studs, balanced&blue printed, majorly reworked cast iron heads, (stainless 2.02/1.82,screw in 3/8studs, triple crane springs, roller rockers, guide plates), 2 x 625 AFB's on a weiland hi-ram and 3" flowmaster exhaust. The trans is a FMX(79 T-Bird) with manual valve body, 10inch 3500 stall. The rear end is spooled with .462:1 gears in an 8 inch! Kevin says it pisses off the local chevy boys quite a bit!

This authentic 1970 Maverick Grabber, in it's original vermillion with black vinyl interior, belongs to Charlie Ping, from Auburn, AL. It has a 1987 Mustang 302 with B303 cam, Weiand intake, headers, and a Holley 600 double-pumper. Drives through a `68 Mustang 4-speed tranny, a `77 Versailles 9-inch rear-end, Torq-thrhust "D" rims, and BF Goodrich tires. It has 4-wheel disc brakes ala Granada and Versailles, and he's restored the factory air conditioning with a GM V4 compressor. The photo was taken at the Maverick Nationals in Columbus OH, 1999.
