This is in the area where I think the village of "Steckman" was, and where the railroad crosses the Black Valley Road a second time.
This is the other side of the crossing. To give an idea of where this is, the Barkman Bros. logging office would be near here, and also, I think there's a Barkman's Notary Public here as well. I'm told an old schoolhouse also stood near this location, which possibly was called "Steckman School", further evidence that this may have been the old town called Steckman. It's said there was also a sealed shaft mine opening near the schoolhouse.
A ways past the Indian Springs area, standing on Black Valley Road, the right-of-way can be seen in some places where it travels through the woods.
A little further out, two different views of the same location.
